Privacy Policy
This privacy policy covers the apps I publish on Google Play under the developer name RCMZ:
- Chroma Launcher (
com.rcmz.chromalauncher) - Le Jeu : Le Jeu Video (
com.rcmz.thegamethevideogame)
I am Antoine Richermoz, the developer behind RCMZ, and I am responsible for these apps. You can reach me at antoinerichermoz@gmail.com.
Effective date: 2026-09-29.
In short
Neither app collects personal data. I receive no data from them. They have no accounts, no ads and no analytics.
Chroma Launcher
As a home screen, Chroma Launcher reads the list of apps installed on your phone, their icons and their shortcuts, to show them and sort them by colour. It stores your settings, such as custom colours and pages, on your phone.
Chroma Launcher has no internet access, so none of this data leaves your phone through the app.
Le Jeu : Le Jeu Video
Le Jeu stores on your phone the time you last opened it and your best score.
So that changing the phone’s clock can’t be used to cheat, the app asks public time servers for the current time. These servers belong to the NTP Pool Project (1.us.pool.ntp.org), are run by volunteers and are located in the United States. The request contains no personal data, but, like any server you connect to, the time server sees your IP address. I never receive this request or your IP address.
The app also checks whether the phone is online before asking, and it notices when the phone restarts, so it doesn’t reuse a time from before the restart.
Android backup
If backup is turned on on your phone, Android includes both apps’ data in your phone’s backup, stored in your Google account under Google’s privacy policy. I have no access to it.
Sharing
I don’t share, sell or transfer any data, because I don’t have any. Besides the time servers above, the apps contain no third-party services.
Security
The apps’ data stays in their private storage on your phone, protected by Android’s app sandbox.
Retention and deletion
The apps’ data stays on your phone until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app, which deletes it.
If you email me, I keep your message only as long as needed to answer it. I will delete it when you ask.
If you contact me
When you email me, I use your email address and message only to reply to you. This relies on my legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
You have the right to access, correct or delete that data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. To use these rights, email me. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in France, that is the CNIL.
Children
The apps collect no data from anyone, including children.
Links to other websites
Chroma Launcher’s Support button opens my support page, which links to donation sites such as Ko-fi, Liberapay and PayPal. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Changes
When this policy changes, I will update the effective date at the top of this page. Earlier versions are kept in the history of this website’s source.
